after ever comes to end love is fickle life is thin beds grow small feelings rend it won't take forever for ever to end
This poem was born from the word "forever." I recognized the potential of splitting the word into "for" and "ever," and from there the rest of the poem unraveled on its own. It's about what comes of love "after [for]ever," and is inspired by the thought of a married couple falling out of love. It is rather depressing in a way, but I don't see it as a sad poem. I wrote it as a warning to hold onto what we have dearly, because sooner or later it might just get up and go.
